AVM is expanding its portfolio of fiber routers and introducing new models: FRITZ!Box 5690 XGS for high-performance 10 Gbit/s connections, FRITZ!Box 5690 fast as lightning on both GPON and AON links, and the versatile FRITZ wireless router!Box 4690, which, along with the top-of-the-line FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro provide users with a wide range of ultra-fast surfing choices over fiber optics. All models support the new generation of Wi-Fi 7 and include the advanced networking features that the FRITZ router series is known for!Box. They are ideal for homes, small businesses and remote work.

New FRITZ!Box 6860 5G will provide lightning-fast surfing and media streaming with 5G mobile connectivity. The router can be installed both indoors and outdoors. This wireless, but fixed, access router supports 5G (NSA, SA) and LTE and reaches data speeds of up to 1.3 Gbit/second. It is equipped with powerful Wi-Fi Mesh compatible with the Wi-Fi 6 standard, so it can share high-speed Internet wirelessly throughout the house. It also has a DECT base for cordless phones and Smart Home devices.

Another key theme at IFA for AVM is long-range Wi-Fi networks. For the first time, the Berlin-based company is introducing at the show new Mesh Wi-Fi signal boosters that support Wi-Fi 7: FRITZ!Repeater 2400 W7 and FRITZ!Repeater 1200 W7. Each house has its own conditions affecting Wi-Fi coverage - several floors, thick walls, rooms with many corners and nooks. That's why AVM is expanding its offering for Wi-Fi Mesh networks with a new FRITZ kit!Mesh Set 3000 Wi-Fi 6 and FRITZ!Mesh Set 1200 Wi-Fi 6. The devices can be easily connected to a FRITZ router!Box or other extending the range of your Wi-Fi network.

New features also appear in Smart Home: AVM introduces new FRITZ smart electricity meter!Smart Energy 250, with which users can monitor and optimize power consumption. Another curiosity from AVM is the renaming of the FRITZ product series!DECT on FRITZ!Smart. Already known smart products in the field of control of energy consumption, heating, lighting will get new names, everything else we are used to in FRITZ solutions!, will remain unchanged: advanced technology, high levels of convenience, ease of use and frequent updates. The AVM booth at IFA in the Smart Home zone will showcase all FRITZ products!Smart, as well as solutions for the Matter platform. The company will also showcase more than 60 new features and enhancements implemented in the FRITZ operating system!OS 8. The upcoming update for all Actual products offers greater convenience and improved clarity of the Overview menu, and guarantees stable and secure use.
